A pretty big horse.

We thought we'd head for the mountains yesterday, and maybe find some elk to take photos of, ended up, staying home until late afternoon...you never know how our days will go. Instead of elk, I found this cream colored paint, maybe Belgian cross. Isn't he gorgeous? I'd love to take a ride on his big, round back. :)

Met another friend at the mural! Sue Kroll

Here I am with Sue Kroll. A fellow artist on the mural, Le Cadeau de Cheval. She sent me this photo, as I was so excited to meet my friends, I forgot to have a photo taken of us together. :)

The internet is so wonderful, you meet friends from all over the country when you have similar interests.

Meeting a long time email buddy!

Here I am with Carol Hendrix! After 10 years of emailing each other back and forth about art, life, and fun, we finally meet! It's so much fun to meet someone who's been a friend for so long, when you've never seen each other in person...

We spent some time together in Cowboy Christmas, and the next day, headed to the flea markets. What a great time we had.

Visiting the mural in Vegas! Le Cadeau de Cheval

Here I am, visiting the mural at the Cowboy Christmas show in the North part of the Thomas and Mack Center. You can visit the mural's webpage all you want, but it's nothing like seeing the mural in person.

It was wonderful to meet Paul, (on your left), and Phil, (on your right). They work so hard but have fun doing it.

I'm hoping the mural can come to the Charlie Russell art show here in Great Falls, in March. It never hurts to dream, eh?

Spotted mini donkey photo.

When I look at this photo, it makes me want to bury my fingers in this donkey's thick coat. I can imagine how fuzzy, soft and warm, he'd feel.

Spotted Mini Donkey Photo

You can't help but love looking at these little donkeys. Those shaggy eye brows hang over their eyes, and nothing is cuter than those fuzzy ears.

We found this donkey in a corral east of Centerville on Christmas Day. Robert was talking to him, and you can tell, he's taking in every word!

This article sums up how I feel when I paint, write, and take photos.

Beauties yet unborn, it's a great article for those of us who love to create.

I know it's a busy day, and a busy time, but this article was worth reading.

Last but not least, the mountain put on a show.

Hope you like this Christmas eve display. We went out to get them just for you.

A Christmas Eve porcupine.

We found this little guy out in the cold wind. My hands were frozen to my camera, the wind chill was 10 degrees below zero, but it was worth it to see this guy and get his photo today. Hope you enjoy seeing him!

LIght through wings.

These guys were cute.

Frequent Flyers

These guys would take to the air currents and enjoy the wind that was blowing so hard a person could barely stand up. They'd take to flight, balance and swoop one way and another, then come back to roost for a rest. They entertained me and my camera for quite a while!

This one gets to me.

This is a dead Saguaro, it almost reminds me of a big snake, crawling over a rock. I enjoyed the live cactus so much, it was really sad to me, to see a dead one. But that's the way of nature, nothing lives forever.

Gorgeous colors.

I photographed this cactus in the same light of day of the photo just before this, the one with the doves...The early morning light was so beautiful and soft.

Doves on the wire in Quartside, AZ

I went for an early morning walk around the trailer court, and found these doves. I liked the pattern they made in the first light of day.

Bear and Wolf Recovery Center in West Yellowstone, Snow Shake!

Loved the way the snow was flying in this shake...

Wild turkey in the snow.

I caught a glimpse of turkeys in the snow, along the highway in Utah. Robert turned around, and we came back to where they were to get photos of them. This is the best one, so I'm posting it.

Birthday party for a one year old.

One of our great grandsons had his first birthday party on Saturday. He's such a good little guy, and he's full of action, so it was...
