Chico's Bow Tie

I all ready need to post an update to this as I saw something I had to change, right after I scanned this. In the center of the bow tie, I added a shadow to deepen the look of the feathers. Chico is so pretty, I don't suppose I'm doing him justice, but I'm having the time of my life painting him.

Macaw painting.

Here's Chico again! I don't know how many paintings of him I'll do, I'm in love with his colors and his eyes. And his beak. I'm posting these paintings of Chico on ebay for .50 starting price. Macaw

My son has a Macaw named Chico. I might have spelled his name wrong but it's pronounced the same. Chico and I got a little bit aquainted over Christmas. He finally came to me without complaint and would gladly eat out of my hand. Of course, he eats from anyone who will feed him, but it was fun to have him willingly step onto my arm.

I took a lot of pictures of Chico, while I had the chance and I need to practise painting him so I can do a good painting for Johnnie. He wants a life size one.
